I’m originally from the Czech Republic and now live in East Lothian with my husband and two boys. I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors which includes running, yoga, walking and socialising with friends. My connection with nature and the outdoors is hugely beneficial both physically and mentally to me and my family.
My passion for people and for their life stories brought me on my career path to be a counsellor. I studied Transactional Analyses Therapy in Edinburgh and completed my diploma in 2011. During and after my studies I carried out volunteer work for Low Cost Counselling and Postnatal Depression Services in Edinburgh.
After my own experience with pregnancy and labour, I made a decision to become a birthing companion (doula). Since 2016 I am fully trained Doula and I did my training with the Red Tent. I encourage mothers to listen to their bodies, wake up their inner wisdom and be next to them on their unique journey into the motherhood. I support any kind of birth and make sure that you and your baby are priority.
I learn mostly through experience, books and I love listening to pregnancy and birth stories. I encourage mothers to listen to their bodies, wake up their inner wisdom and be next to them on their journey of transformation into the motherhood. Each labour is unique, I am here to support you in anyway and make sure that you and your baby are a priority.
I am offering a combination of my counselling skills and doula experience to provide the best mental, physical and emotional support for women and their partners which leads to an enjoyable pregnancy, successful birth and happy parenting.
I love bringing the nature into my work as it is hugely beneficial both physically and mentally. I feel passionate about the Walk and Talk Counselling and Well-being sessions which can be “spiced up” with sea dip, art or Reiki.
